NXT has come a long way from being WWE’s developmental brand, as it now has its own core fan base and NXT has given fans a lot to talk about over the last few years.
You never know when a main roster star such as AJ Styles, Kevin Owens or Charlotte Flair might get involved with NXT, and recently Edge dropped by NXT to take a look at the landscape.
Following his Royal Rumble win Edge teased the possibility of challenging for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania, but he still has yet to make his choice.
Regardless of whether or not Edge ends up challenging for the title it sounds like fans can expect to see him work in NXT at some point, as Triple H confirmed during a media call today that Edge started discussing the idea of working in NXT as soon as he returned.
“Triple H says Edge has been talking to him since before he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble about coming to NXT and performing, and listed people he wanted to work with and wants to put over young talent.”
