Edge and Lita found big success when they started working together on screen, and for some time they were an infamous pro wrestling power couple.
The duo provided many entertaining moments that got fans talking, but their live sex celebration on Monday Night Raw is one moment that fans are still talking about to this day.
During a recent Twitch stream Lita talked about the angle, and she revealed that WWE threatened to fire her if she didn’t participate in the segment.
According to Lita she wasn’t the only one who objected, as John Cena, Edge and other crew members also tried to stop the live sex celebration from happening. However, Vince McMahon liked the idea, so he pushed for it to happen.
Lita noted that she told the company she was uncomfortable with the segment, and that’s when they threatened to fire her if she refused to do it.
The Hall of Famer went on to leave the company later that year when she lost a retirement match against Mickie James at Survivor Series. After the match Cryme Tyme auctioned off Lita’s belongings in a “ho sale.”
