WWE recently made some interesting moves in the 2020 WWE Draft, and now the Monday Night Raw roster looks a little different.

Matt Riddle was shifted from the blue brand to the red brand, and his name was also recently shortened to Riddle.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently appeared on the Inside The Ropes Monday Night Live show, and he noted that Riddle is not the most popular person backstage, and that he doesn’t have a ton of friends in the locker room.

Despite not being popular backstage Sapp noted that Riddle did receive praise for his recent match against Sheamus.

“I heard from several wrestlers who were like, ‘Yeah, we thought he was going to be po-faced because he was going to lose to Sheamus really quick after debuting on Raw. We thought he was just going to go out there and mope around but he didn’t, he went out there and made Sheamus look really great.’ Sheamus was thankful of that and, apparently when they came through, Vince McMahon was very fired up about it.

“I do know that they had pitched a more serious thing and apparently a little bit of a push, it would not surprise me to see him and on Team Raw as early as tonight even though he already lost to Sheamus – but yeah, things looking good for Matt Riddle.”

How do you feel about Riddle’s main roster run so far? Sound off in the comments below.
