This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with Drew McIntyre cutting a promo in the ring with Ric Flair, Big Show, Shawn Michaels and Christian, and at the end of the segment McIntyre issued an open challenge to anyone who hasn’t had a shot at his WWE Title.
Throughout the night fans were trying to figure out who it could be, and at one point Dolph Ziggler pulled Adam Pearce aside backstage.
When McIntyre came out for his open challenge, Dolph Ziggler’s music hit, and he introduced former United States Champion and former Raw Tag Team Champion Robert Roode.
Roode has been off TV for some time now due to issues stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, but it was recently reported that he would be returning to TV soon.
McIntyre ended up picking up the win in the main event after hitting Roode with the Claymore.
