A few weeks ago Roman Reigns shocked the world when he made his surprise return to WWE at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, and he attacked both Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman after the main event.
Reigns shocked the world once again when he aligned himself with Paul Heyman, and he then went on to win the Universal Championship at the Payback pay-per-view.
Fans have been calling for Roman Reigns to turn heel for years now, and it seems that WWE has finally pulled the trigger.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter it was Roman Reigns asked for the company to turn him heel upon his return.
However, it’s not know if Roman Reigns or Vince McMahon made the call to put him with Paul Heyman.
