SummerSlam is without a doubt one of WWE’s biggest annual pay-per-views, and this year the show delivered some surprises.
Originally Mandy Rose was set to face Sonya Deville in a Hair vs. Hair match, but the bout was changed to a Loser Leaves WWE match.
Last week it was reported that a man broke into Sonya Deville’s home and that he planned to abduct her. Luckily the police were able to arrest the man, and Deville had to appear in court.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Sonya Deville’s lawyer objected to the stipulation citing that it wouldn’t be a good idea for Sonya to appear in court with a shaved head.
In the end Deville lost the Loser Leaves WWE match, and it was speculated that she’ll be taking some time off due to the court case.
