Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to focus on the fallout from the WWE Backlash pay-per-view, and it looks like a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be in the house.
Earlier today WrestleVotes reported that WWE was setting up “something unexpected” for Raw tonight, and Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT has now confirmed that Christian will be returning.

At this point in time it’s not clear what Christian will be doing tonight, but he did recently appear on Raw to enhance the Edge vs. Orton feud.
As noted, Edge and Orton faced off at Backlash on Sunday and the match was originally taped on June 7th. Unfortunately for Edge he suffered an injury during reshoots for the match and he’s expected to be out up to 9 months.
