Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, and unfortunately Superstars do get injured from time to time.
Unfortunately Ember Moon suffered a torn Achilles back in September of 2019, and she’s been out of action ever since.
The former NXT Women’s Champion joined WWE backstage this week, and she said that she realizes she may be dealing with a career ending injury.
“I look back at my career in WWE — I’ve been here five years,” Moon began. “I look back, and yeah, I should have been the one to defeat Asuka’s streak, or ‘Aw, man, me and Bayley from SummerSlam, I wish I’d done more.’ The more and more I sit back and look at everything I’d re-do, I think about my injury currently. Realizing that I may have a career-ending injury. I’m coming back from the hardest injury and I might not have a chance to redeem myself of all the things I wanted to do and I wanted to do in my future. It’s so hard to look back and regret, when I try to look forward.”
Ember Moon went on to get emotional while talking about the possibility of not returning, but Mark Henry and Booker T tried to pump her up.
Mark Henry told her she’s got a lot left in the tank, and that she’s too great and too wonderful to talk about hanging up the boots.
