It was recently reported that Rob Gronkowski had signed a deal with WWE, and he appeared at WrestleMania 36 a few weeks ago as the host.
Gronk did more than just host the show, as he got physical at WrestleMania 36 when he captured the WWE 24/7 Championship.
However, it looks like a return to the NFL could be in the cards for Rob Gronkowski as ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the New England Patriots are currently in talks to trade Gronk to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Schefter also notes that according to his agent Rob will be playing for the Buccaneers pending a physical. It was also noted that one source believes he passed “with flying colors.”
Patriots and Buccaneers have been discussing a trade for retired TE Rob Gronkowski, per league sources. Gronkowski has one year and $10 million left on his contract. But the two sides are, and have been talking, prior to Thursday’s draft.
