In 2019 WWE spent several months promoting Liv Morgan’s return, and when she finally returned she got a lot of people talking.
The former Riott Squad member appeared on Raw and she interrupted Lana’s wedding to Bobby Lashley when she confessed her love to Lana.
Liv Morgan went on to feud with Lana for a few weeks, but the storyline was abruptly dropped with little follow up.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason why the feud was dropped was because there were no actual plans for Liv Morgan when she returned.
It’s being said that Paul Heyman booked the angle as a way to pop the crowd, but there were no plans to follow it up.
