It’s certainly a well known fact that the coronavirus pandemic has had a massive impact on live entertainment, as large gatherings all over the world have been canceled.
WrestleMania 36 was moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, and this year’s show was pre-taped.
At this point there’s no telling when things will go back to normal, but Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Vince McMahon is set to participate in a conference call today with President Donald Trump and other sports commissioners at noon.
There’s currently no word on what will be discussed, but it will be interesting to see how things unfold.
Scheduled participants on call with Trump:
NBA – Adam Silver
WNBA – Cathy Engelbert
MLB – Rob Manfred
NFL – Roger Goodell
NHL – Gary Bettman
PGA Tour – Jay Monahan
