The third annual women’s Royal Rumble took place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, and it was Charlotte Flair who won it all.
The match featured quite a few names from NXT, and the final four came down to Beth Phoenix, Shayna Baszler, Natalya and Charlotte Flair.
Baszler took the fight to Beth Phoenix and Natalya while Charlotte Flair was on the outside, and Beth turned on Natalya then threw her over the top rope.
Eventually Charlotte got back in the match, and Shayna eliminated Beth Phoenix. It came down to Flair and Baszler.
Baszler thought she had it won when she threw Charlotte over the top rope, but Charlotte held on then grabbed Baszler with her legs and pulled her over the top to win the match.
After the match Charlotte was asked about her plans, and while she didn’t reveal which champion she plans to face, she said she’s a diamond cut to last, and she just reminded everyone why the women’s division is her division.
