WWE has cut multiple wrestlers this week as another round of releases is underway. So far 10 wrestlers have been released from NXT as Fightful Select is reporting that the following names have been cut:
– Wendy Choo
– Adriana Rizzo
– Zena Sterling
– Anya Rune
– Braxton Cole
– Jasper Troy
– PJ Vasa
– Gary Wilson
– Ellen Akesson
– Marcus Brown
Ellen Akesson confirmed the release when she posted the following on social media:
“I have been released from WWE. I truly loved it here. From the wrestling to the security staff to the coaches to the fans to my friends to the daily small routines like locking my bike at the PC. I am confident that I did everything I could these 6 months. Thank you for the love”

Fightful is also reporting that they have not heard if there are more releases coming, and they have not heard anything about potential main roster cuts.
Releases have become quite common throughout the year as a number of notable names have parted ways with WWE in 2026 such as The New Day, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Motor City Machine Guns, Kairi Sane, The Wyatt Sicks and more.
