The 2017 WWE Royal Rumble has come and gone, and much like most WWE pay-per-views, this one was filled with highs and lows. Prior to the main event, The Club won the Raw Tag Team Titles, Neville won the WWE Cruiserweight Title and John Cena defeated AJ Styles to win his 16th World Title and tie Ric Flair’s record. It was all fun and games until the actual Royal Rumble match started.
There was a lot of anticipation leading up to this year’s Royal Rumble and many people expected a few surprises. Unfortunately for WWE fans around the world, there really weren’t any surprises, and Randy Orton went on to win it all.
Everybody has their own opinion when it comes to the 2017 Royal Rumble match, but it seems like the general consensus is that most fans were disappointed by the lack of surprises, and Randy Orton’s victory.
