The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is getting closer and closer with each passing day which means soon we’ll be heading into WrestleMania season. You never know who might return on the road to WrestleMania, and it was recently reported that WWE is pushing for former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to return to the company soon.
Now Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com is reporting that Ronda Rousey is “definitely on the books for WrestleMania” and it was noted that an appearance at the Royal Rumble would help to set Rousey up for Mania.
Meltzer noted that the possibility of Ronda Rousey returning at the Royal Rumble “certainly wasn’t denied” to him, and it was also noted that plans are on the table for Rousey to be part of WrestleMania.
At this point it’s not clear who Ronda Rousey could be facing if she does indeed return for WrestleMania, but it’s safe to say that the former Raw Women’s Champion has some unfinished business with Becky Lynch. One way or another it will be interesting to see how things play out over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates.
