The Hardys were flying high following WrestleMania 35 as they captured the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but the brothers unfortunately had to vacate the belts so Jeff Hardy could take time off due to injury.
Unfortunately Jeff Hardy made headlines earlier this year when he was arrested for public intoxication, and now it’s being reported that Hardy was arrested again this week.
According to PWInsider, Jeff Hardy was arrested on Thursday evening in Moore County, North Carolina and the former WWE Champion was charged with driving while impaired.
The Moore County Police Department confirmed that Jeff Hardy was released around 11:30 PM on Thursday.
The police declined to give more details in regards to what he has been charged with noting that it is an ongoing investigation.
It was recently reported that WWE decided to extend Jeff Hardy’s contract because of the time he’s missed due to injury.
