It’s been a while since fans have seen Dolph Ziggler in the ring, but he made his surprise return to the blue brand this week on SmackDown Live.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston faced off against Sami Zayn in a non-title match, and in the end it was Kofi who picked up the win.

As Kofi Kingston was celebrating, Paul Heyman made his way out into the arena and he taunted Kofi Kingston with the Money In The Bank briefcase.

Paul Heyman teased that Brock Lesnar could be coming out to cash in, but as Kofi was focused on Heyman, Dolph Ziggler attacked him from behind.

Ziggler absolutely destroyed Kofi Kingston when he wrapped a chair around his neck then slammed him head first into the announce table.

Dolph was then pulled away by referees, but he came back and stomped on Kofi’s neck while it was wrapped up in the chair.

Kingston then had to be taken away on a stretcher. As the stretcher reached the top of the ramp, Kofi got off and walked backstage on his own two feet.
