WWE is the biggest professional wrestling company in the world, and over the years some of the most famous wrestlers of all time have competed inside a WWE ring.

However, recently fans have been seeing big names like Sting and Paul Wight jump ship to AEW and now the company is hyping that a “huge star” will be signing a multi-year contract at Revolution on Sunday.

Chris Jericho recently spoke to Digital Spy about AEW using legends, and he made it clear that he doesn’t think WWE treated Sting and Big Show with respect.

“These are guys that were kind of almost insulted in their WWE runs. [Sting and Wight were] definitely not treated with too much respect over the last few years.”

“We treat our legends with respect, we don’t make jokes out of them and WWE is notorious for that, whether it’s Sting, Paul Wight, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Jake Roberts, Dustin Rhodes, throw in Chris Jericho. We know how to treat our legendary performers with respect and make them all look great and make them all worthy of being in AEW because if they aren’t worthy of being in AEW why would they be there?”

In addition to the “huge star” signing a contract at Revolution on Sunday it’s also been announced that a surprise talent will be competing in the ladder match for a future shot at the TNT Title. Stay tuned for updates.
