For a while Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were the best of friends, but eventually their friendship came to a shocking end when Owens turned on Jericho and assaulted him during the Festival of Friendship.
The segment will live in infamy forever, and this week marked the anniversary of the Festival of Friendship.
Jericho noted that it was one of his favorite segments he’s ever been involved with when he posted the following on Instagram:
“Happy three year anniversary of the #FestivalOfFriendship! This is one of my favorite segments I’ve ever been involved with!”
Chris Jericho’s feud with Kevin Owens culminated with a match at WrestleMania 33 which saw KO defeat Chris Jericho to become the new WWE United States Champion.
These days Jericho and Owens are in very different places, as Jericho is the current AEW World Champion, and KO has been feuding with Seth Rollins, AOP and Murphy.
