Zack Sabre Jr. is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. He’s also one of the biggest free agents in the industry because he’s one of the few superstars in the business who hasn’t had to sign an exclusive contract with a top promotion like Ring of Honor, WWE, or another.

After Sabre had participated in the Cruiserweight Classic last year, a lot of people assumed he’d be signing a contract with WWE and likely wrestle under the NXT brand. Although Sabre made the semifinals, he didn’t sign a deal with WWE and has remained unsigned until now.
It’s now being reported by Pro Wrestling Unlimited that Zack Sabre Jr. is expected to sign a huge contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling very soon. As of this writing, he hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet, but he’s expected to debut for the promotion sooner rather than later.
Sabre’s signing is a big addition to New Japan’s roster. Roughly a month after resigning Kenny Omega, the promotion’s roster looks really strong with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, and several others on the active roster. New Japan’s future is looking very bright right now.
