Zack Ryder Shows Off His New Ring Gear

Zack Ryder was a WWE Superstar for a number of years, but his run with the company came to an end last week when he was officially released from his contract due to budget cuts.

Everyone’s waiting to see where Ryder will end up, but in the meantime he’s treated fans to some photos of his new ring gear on Twitter.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion noted that the gear was inspired by his trainer, former ECW star Mikey Whipwreck when he posted the following:

“I originally planned to wear this gear in 2016, but didn’t. It is inspired by my wrestling trainer, @mikeywhipwreck_. I had planned to wear it a few more times, but for one reason or another, I didn’t get to wear it. I can’t wait to wrestle again and finally wear this.”

At this point it’s not clear what Zack Ryder’s next move will be, but there’s speculation that he could be AEW bound after Cody Rhodes took to social media to praise Zack Ryder following his WWE release.
