No one ever wants to see a professional wrestler get injured while they’re doing what they do best, but unfortunately that’s exactly what happened a year ago when Big E broke his neck after taking an overhead belly to belly suplex onto the floor. Ridge Holland was the man who delivered the suplex, and the Brawling Brutes member recently took to Twitter to explain that he’s been receiving death threats.
Xavier Woods showed his support for Ridge Holland and reminded fans to be kind when he posted the following on Twitter:
“Pro Wrestling is extremely dangerous. All of us involved understand that. Ridge & his family do not deserve to be treated this way. Please do not send any hate towards them. Instead use your energy to do something positive like sending love to E. Be kind. Please be kind.”
At this point it’s not clear if Big E will be returning to the ring, but he recently shared an update on his recovery and you can get more on that here.
