One of the best parts of throwback photos is the fact that we can revisit the past. An even better part of throwback photos is when we can look at someone else’s past. After all, other people are usually more entertaining especially if they’re WWE superstars.
Xavier Woods has a very interesting history, to say the least. Some of it has even been documented on film and in TNA. Xavier Woods recently shared a rather awesome throwback photo that was also wrapped in a congratulatory message.
Tye Dillinger finally made his way up to the WWE’s main roster when he showed up on SmackDown Live to shut up Curt Hawkins. It’s no secret Tye is The Perfect 10 and he’s very popular with WWE fans. But, he is also a favorite in the locker room as well.
Woods put up the following photo showing the two old friends partying during their time in developmental. It sure looked like one heck of a party, that’s for sure.
Kofi Kingston had a similar post recently as well. But, he wasn’t congratulating someone for making their way to the WWE main roster. He was congratulating two legends for being enshrined in the WWE Hall Of Fame.
There are plenty of reasons to love the photo Kofi shared. We like to focus on the babyfaced Kofi Kingston and how much he’s grown since then. If you factor in the fact that the Rock n’ Roll Express haven’t seemed to age much at all in 19 years, you’ve got the perfect combo for a great throwback photo.
Kofi and the rest of his New Day brethren owe a lot to The Rock n’ Roll Express. Albeit they probably owe more to The Fabulous Freebirds, but without groundbreaking teams before them, they’d never get away with doing ten minutes about their bootys.
