The New Day are one of the most popular teams in all of WWE, and earlier this summer they made the move from Monday Night Raw to SmackDown Live. Ever since they joined the blue brand they’ve been fighting The Usos over the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and at SummerSlam The New Day dropped the belts to Jimmy and Jey.

Even though The New Day lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam, the war between New Day and The Usos is far from over. The two teams faced off once again in a triple threat tag team match featuring Breezango at the WWE live event in Texarkana, AR, on Monday night, and unfortunately Xavier Woods injured his knee during the match.
Xavier attempted to hit a DDT on one of The Usos, but as he tried to hit the move his knee gave out. Kofi Kingston then entered the ring and the match ended after he was pinned following a roll up.
You can watch a video clip showing the moment Xavier Woods went down below.
Xavier Woods himself commented on the video saying that it didn’t even look cool.
The extent of the injury is unknown at this point, and WWE has yet to make an announcement regarding Xavier’s status. PWInsider reports that Woods is undergoing a medical analysis backstage at this week’s SmackDown Live. Stay tuned for updates.
