The Raw premiere on Netflix gave fans plenty to talk about as some big names were featured on the show. Travis Scott accompanied Jey Uso to the ring as Jey was making his way into the arena to face off against Drew McIntyre. During the entrance Travis Scott started smoking a joint which caught many viewers by surprise.
During an episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass it was noted that there is no heat on Travis Scott for lighting up during Jey Uso’s entrance.
WWE was not aware that was going to happen, and it was emphasized that it was in no way approved by the company. However, everyone played it off well and the show kept moving. It’s being said that WWE has major plans for Travis Scott in the future and those plans have not changed following his appearance on Raw.
Triple H discussed Travis Scott’s status with the company during the Raw post-show press conference and he praised Scott for his creativity while indicating that WWE will be working with him more in the future.
“Travis is one of those wonderfully creative people, and he loves what we do. At least for me, when I meet with him, whether Zoom or in person it’s like this fountain of ideas that stuff just keeps coming out. Then we get done, and you have this list of stuff, and then it’s like, alright, let’s get together again next week or whatever, and let’s see what we still believe should stay on the list and what we take off. So there’s a lot of things that are up in the air, but we just talked about it tonight here. The next couple of days, he and I are going to get together and have a convo about where we want to go next.”
