It’s been a long time since fans have seen Shane McMahon appear on WWE programming, but in recent months there’s been a lot of talk about the former WWE European Champion possibly working with AEW.
Recently it was reported that Shane McMahon met with Tony Khan earlier this week at an airport in Arlington, and a photo of the meeting has been circulating on social media.
WrestleVotes is now reporting that a longtime WWE employee who is friendly with Shane McMahon stated that Shane is as smart as they come, and no one is surprised that he would take a preliminary meeting with Tony Khan.

It’s not clear where things could go from here, but during their meeting Shane McMahon and Tony Khan reportedly discussed “possibilities moving forward.”
