Bobby Lashley is back in WWE and as The Dominator he is continuing his path in WWE for his second run with the company. Some people are already noticing that it might not be going as well for Lashley this time around.
After all, since leaving WWE Bobby Lashley accomplished a lot in pro wrestling. He essentially had a second career with Impact Wrestling and MMA where he was able to reinvent himself in many ways.
But now Lashley finds himself in a spot on the roster where some fans might even forget he’s on Raw at this point. Bryan Alvarez opened up about this subject on Wrestling Observer Live where he expressed his opinion on how Bobby Lashley might have been initially booked to make his WWE return.
“I don’t know for sure but I think there’s a very good possibility that Lashley was going to be Braun’s partner [at WrestleMania] and then somebody came up with what they thought would be a cute idea — which I guess being there live every one thought it was a cute idea after being there 5 or 6 hours, or however long it was — it was 6 hours by the time Braun Strowman found the kid in the crowd, Nicholas. But a very could have been Bobby before that.”
Therefore it looks like Nicholas might not have been WWE’s first decision for Braun Strowman’s partner at the Show Of Shows. But it really makes us scratch our heads even more because having Bobby Lashley debut at WrestleMania as Braun Strowman’s partner to win the Raw Tag Team Titles would have been a much better way to bring Bobby Lashley back to the WWE Universe.
