WWE’s New Strategy For Maintaining Raw’s Audience

It’s no big secret that WWE hasn’t exactly been knocking it out of the park in terms of viewership as of late, but slowly but surely the company has been introducing edgier content in hopes of attracting a younger audience.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the idea is for moves to be made to use characters teenagers can relate to in order to increase the teenage audience.

It’s also being reported that the other goal is to maintain Raw’s audience through all three hours.

WWE is trying to train the audience to think that all of the good stuff happens during the third hour of Raw.

This week WWE made specific plans to hold back Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch for the third hour.
