At the Royal Rumble last mont Bron Breakker was attacked by a masked man before he could enter the men’s Royal Rumble match, and the masked man has continued to attack members of The Vision in recent weeks.
Unfortunately another member of The Vision was sidelined on Monday night when Bronson Reed suffered a bicep injury while facing off against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Reed had to be pulled from the match, and it was later reported that he was originally planned to win and advance to the Elimination Chamber.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that Bronson Reed’s injury will cause big changes to WWE’s masked man storyline. Originally the masked man and Logan Paul were supposed to be part of the finish for the triple threat match on Raw. However, it’s now being reported that the masked man storyline is expected to undergo heavy rewrites.
This certainly isn’t surprising as the masked man storyline revolved around The Vision, and the group has unfortunately lost two members in recent weeks with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker both out of action indefinitely.
One way or another it will be interesting to see where the storyline goes from here.
