It’s been rumored for months now that WWE is set to introduce Women’s Tag Team Titles, and this week on Raw it was officially confirmed.
Vince McMahon appeared on Raw dressed as Santa Claus in a pre-taped segment, and he announced that next week on Raw Dolph Ziggler will face Drew McIntyre in a steel cage match.
Vince also confirmed that WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the way.
An exact date for the debut of the titles was not announced, but Vince teased that they’ll be introduced in 2019.
Women’s Tag Team Titles have been rumored to be in the works for quite some time now, and a few weeks ago WWE teased the introduction of new title belts when they handed out “we want women’s tag team championships” signs during a set of TV tapings.
