WWE Veteran Out Of Action Until 2020

It’s true that there’s never a good time for a professional wrestler to be injured, and it looks like one WWE veteran won’t be wrestling for a while.

F4Wonline.com reports that former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James is set to undergo surgery on her right ACL today in Birmingham, AL.

It’s expected that Mickie James will be out of action for 7 to 9 months. It was also noted that this is the first major surgery from her 20 year career.

It was reported that Mickie James suffered a knee injury during a match against Carmella at a WWE live event in June, and the match ended abruptly.

Mickie confirmed the injury a few days later.
