Some people are lucky to have a long career competing in the squared circle, but no one can go forever. Carlito has been wrestling for decades, but the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has a rough timeline in mind regarding his retirement.

While talking about the future of his in-ring career while speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Carlito indicated that he only has a few years left before he hangs up his boots for good.

“I feel like I’ve got a few more years in me. Not many, but a few,” Carlito explained.

When talking about possibly wrestling into his 50s, Carlito said, “That’s probably not going to happen. No, no, probably not. Mentally, I think [I could], but my body is probably not [going to hold up.]”

Carlito has not been as active on the ring over the last few months, which he explained is due to injuries when he added, “Yeah, I’ve been dealing with some injuries, so not bumping has helped. But yeah, like, I like, I said, there’s still a little bit left in the tank.”

Even though Carlito hasn’t been wrestling lately he’s still regularly featured on Monday Night Raw as a member of The Judgment Day.
