A number of WWE stars have contracts that are set to expire this year, and Natalya’s deal is set to expire in a matter of weeks. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been on the WWE roster for a long time, but it seems that her contract status has not been solidified moving forward.
Dave Meltzer shared an update on Natalya’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and explained that Natalya still has not signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. Meltzer also added that he’s not sure if the situation is anything to be alarmed over, but that is where things stand at the moment.
Natalya is the longest tenured wrestler in the WWE women’s division as she’s been with the company since 2007. Throughout her career she’s managed to capture the WWE Divas Championship, SmackDown Women’s Championship and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Another notable WWE name also has a contract that is expiring in the near future, and you can get more on that here.
