It’s WrestleMania season and now all of the veterans of the WWE are coming out of the woodwork. The Undertaker, Triple H, Big Show and more are all setting up their matches for the big event, but one star we haven’t seen recently is Kane.
Kane hasn’t been featured all that much on WWE programming in recent months because at the moment the company is focused on building new stars, but he was working live events. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Kane has been out of action for a month now because he’s dealing with variety of nagging injuries.
The specifics of the injuries are unknown at this point, but Kane has had a long career with WWE which has likely taken a toll on his body. As they say, professional wrestling ain’t ballet.
This week on 205 Live it was announced that Tony Nese was injured on Raw. Nese is reportedly dealing with a minor right heel injury, and he’s set to be evaluated next week. He’s not expected to be out of action very long.
Deadline is reporting that Viacom will be rebranding Spike TV and renaming it the Paramount Network. Spike was originally called the Nashville Network and it later became TNN before becoming Spike TV in 2003. The network was once the home of Monday Night Raw and later TNA Impact.
