WWE Using The Wild Card Rule For Live Events

A few weeks ago Vince McMahon appeared on Raw and introduced the Wild Card Rule. Since then some of WWE’s top stars have been jumping back and forth from Raw to SmackDown Live, and vice versa.

It appears that the Wild Card Rule is now in effect for WWE live events, as PWInsider is reporting that Drew McIntyre is being advertised for several upcoming SmackDown events, some of which will take place while Raw is on the air.

McIntyre is being advertised for the following SmackDown branded WWE live events:

Saturday 6/1 in Waco, Texas

Sunday 6/2 in College Station, Texas

Monday 6/3 in Corpus Christie,

Sunday 6/9 in Stockton, CA

Monday 6/10 in Reno, NV

It will be interesting to see how many other names cross over going forward, as WWE recently had to cancel some Monday night live events to use SmackDown stars on Raw.
