Next week’s episode of NXT is shaping up to be a big one as the event is set to take place from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA which is unofficially known as the ECW Arena.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE has reached out about having more ECW stars at the NXT show next week at the ECW Arena. Dawn Marie is set to be involved, Bully Ray recently appeared on WWE programming at NXT Halloween Havoc, and it’s being reported that there was a pitch made for Lita to return to the ring.
Lita previously appeared in ECW as Miss Congeniality and the idea pitched was for her to be involved in an eight or ten woman tag team match during the show. The former WWE Women’s Champion was at the 2300 Arena last week for unrelated reasons. The tag team match has been pitched throughout the week.
Fans last saw Lita inside a WWE ring when she teamed up with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to defeat Damage CTRL. Shortly after WrestleMania, Lita was written off TV as part of Becky Lynch’s feud with Trish Stratus.
