The last few months have certainly been eventful for WWE as the company put on two nights of WrestleMania at SoFi Stadium and last weekend the stars of WWE traveled to Puerto Rico for Backlash.
The Backlash premium live event gave fans plenty to talk about and many people on social media were praising Bad Bunny for his performance in his match against Damian Priest.
The Damian Priest vs. Bad Bunny match featured cameos from notable names such as Savio Vega and Carlito who both got big ovations from the fans in attendance. Savio Vega recently spoke to Sportskeeda’s UnSkripted about Bad Bunny’s WWE run so far and he noted that he’s heard WWE could be bringing Bad Bunny back for SummerSlam.
“This kid has two full matches. One at WrestleMania, and this singles match against Damian Priest. He’s natural. You know, they take him step by step all the way to the end, but he has the mentality. He has the power, he’s hungry for that. He loves it, he wants to make it good… He has it, and I hear they’re maybe talking about SummerSlam for him. I don’t know. They know what they’re going to do. But Bad Bunny hit the ball out of the park.”
There’s currently no word on who Bad Bunny could potentially work with if he does indeed return for SummerSlam as his feud with Damian Priest has seemingly wrapped up. Stay tuned for more updates on Bad Bunny’s WWE return as they become available.
