A few weeks ago Roman Reigns vacated the Universal Championship and then announced that he was taking time off to focus on his battle with leukemia.
Later that night, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose won the Raw Tag Team Titles, but Ambrose turned on his partner after they won the belts, and Rollins has been looking for answers ever since.
This week on Raw, Seth Rollins made his way down to the ring and said that he learned more about Dean Ambrose from watching his special on the WWE Network than he ever knew about him while they were friends.
Dean Ambrose then popped up on the big screen and said that The Shield did more bad than good, thenhe referenced Roman Reigns’ leukemia diagnosis when he said, “For what Roman did in The Shield, he has to answer to the man upstairs. But what’s worse, is you have to answer to me.”
Dave Meltzer discussed the controversial dialogue from Raw on Wrestling Observer Radio, and he noted that WWE made a decision to keep using the Roman Reigns’ leukemia diagnosis as a talking point in the Ambrose/Rollins feud moving forward, but it’s not known how often Roman will be mentioned.
At this point there’s no set timeline for Roman’s return, and there are no plans in place for him to wrestle at WrestleMania 35.
