Now that the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month, and several matches were confirmed for the show this week on Raw.
Edge picked up a win over The Miz at Day 1, and this week on Raw it was confirmed that Edge will team up with Beth Phoenix to take on The Miz and Maryse at the Royal Rumble.
This week Kevin Owens, Big E, Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins faced off in a fatal 4 way main event on Raw with a shot at Brock Lesnar’s WWE Championship on the line. Bobby Lashley won the match when he hit Kevin Owens with a spear. Lashley will now go on to face Brock Lesnar in a singles match for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble.
The following names were also confirmed for the men’s Royal Rumble match this week on Raw:

– Montez Ford
– Johnny Knoxville
– Dominik Mysterio
– Rey Mysterio
– Austin Theory
Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop has been announced for next week’s Raw and the winner will go on to challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view will air live on Saturday, January 29. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
