WWE Title Match Ends In Controversy At The Royal Rumble

Sunday night at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Daniel Bryan defended his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan, and both men fought hard to prove that they were worthy of being called a champion.

At one point during the match, Erick Rowan made his way down to the ringside area.

The referee got knocked out, and AJ Styles hit the Styles Clash on Bryan, but there was no one to count the pin.

Erick Rowan then got in the ring and hit Styles with a choke slam, then Bryan pinned Styles and Bryan retained.

After the match, Erick Rowan attacked AJ Styles and then celebrated with Daniel Bryan.
