Drew McIntyre won the WWE Championship for the second time in his career a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, and AJ Styles, Keith Lee and Riddle all recently earned the right to face off in a triple threat match with a title shot on the line.
This week on Monday Night Raw the triple threat match took place, and it was AJ Styles who got the victory and won the title shot.
AJ Styles picked up the win when he hit Riddle with the Phenomenal Forearm to pick up the win.
The Phenomenal One will now go on to the TLC pay-per-view to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. It was not confirmed whether or not it will be a TLC match, but given the history of the TLC PPV it’s probably safe to say that a stipulation will be involved.
Stay tuned for updates.
