Asuka remains the NXT Women’s Champion and is still undefeated. At NXT Takeover: Orlando, Ember Moon will attempt to end her undefeated streak and NXT title reign. Meanwhile, a lot of people are speculating about the end of Asuka’s run with NXT.

WWE officials could decide to continue to push The Empress of Tomorrow’s undefeated streak on the main roster, which means she would likely vacate the NXT Women’s Championship. However, there’s a lot of speculation about her main roster debut coming soon, possibly even before WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.
It’s being reported by CageSideSeats that WWE recently hinted at a main roster debut for the NXT Women’s Champion on social media over the weekend by teasing that Asuka could be challenging Alexa Bliss. The posts were deleted, but it’s made a lot of people wonder if they showed their hand a little too early. Could the NXT star be headed to SmackDown Live?
As of this writing, Alexa Bliss will defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against “every available female competitor on the roster.” Since the match participants are still up in the air, it’s possible Asuka could debut in the match and even walk out of Orlando with the title.
