The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is set to air live from ThunderDome at Tropicana Field later today, and it sounds like the talents on hand aren’t just getting ready for the show, they’re also doing work for a WWE video game.
PWInsider reports that representatives from 2K are set to be at the Royal Rumble today in Tampa, Florida. Talents will be doing voiceover work for the next entry in the 2K franchise.
It’s also being reported that there are plans for most of the talents, if not all of them, to be scanned so they can be used in upcoming WWE 2K games.
2K decided not to release their annual WWE 2K game last year following the backlash over glitches in WWE 2K20. Instead the company went a different direction and released WWE Battlegrounds last year.
At this point in time it’s not clear when the next installment in the WWE 2K series will be released. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
