WWE has been broadcasting most of their TV shows from the state of the art ThunderDome set for months now, and in addition to LED screens which allow fans to appear on the show virtually, WWE has also been piping in fake crowd noise.
The fake crowd noise allows WWE officials to choose the type of reaction they want certain wrestlers to get, but it seems that not everyone is happy with this arrangement.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE’s ability to completely control crowd reactions has led to frustration among underneath talents.
The talents realize that WWE creates the crowd noise based on who they do, and don’t, want to push. Talents also realize that if they’re not on the list of people that the company wants to push then they can’t get a reaction out of the fans to help change their situation.
