Daniel Bryan has been out of action for quite some time now and although he has been cleared to return by doctors at UCLA, he has yet to be cleared by WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon.
When it was reported last week that Bryan had been cleared by doctors at UCLA and it looks like the report got people talking. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that some people in WWE expected Bryan to return at the Royal Rumble.
At one point WWE had told Bryan he wouldn’t be cleared and offered him non-wrestling roles. Bryan has argued his case but Vince McMahon told him he probably wouldn’t be cleared but that he wasn’t completely sure.
