WWE Tag Team Reportedly Set For Big Push

Business has been picking up in the WWE tag team division as of late as several teams are trying to make their mark on the WWE landscape. This week the team of Indus Sher was originally set to face off against Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin on Raw, but things didn’t exactly go according to plan.

Indus Sher completely destroyed Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander before the bell even rang which led to the referee calling the match off. It looks like fans should expect to see Indus Sher continue to dominate the tag team division in the months to come as PWInsider is reporting that WWE’s current plan is to position the team strongly ahead of the company’s return to India in September.

“The company wants Indus Sher positioned strongly as they build towards their return to India with a September live event.”

Indus Sher were recently called up to the main roster as part of the 2023 WWE Draft with former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal by their side. One way or another it sounds like we’re going to be seeing a lot more of them on Raw as WWE prepares to return to India. Stay tuned for updates.
