This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX and it featured a big number one contenders match. The New Day faced off against LWO and The Creed Brothers in a triple threat match to determine who would go on to challenge The Judgment Day for the WWE World Tag Team Championship, and it was LWO who picked up the win to earn the title shot.

Shortly after the match The New Day were melting down backstage due to the loss. Woods and Kingston started saying that they need some type of advantage as Grayson Waller approached them.

Grayson Waller told Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that Austin Theory is injured, so A-Town Down Under is officially done as a tag team. Waller said that he’s now a free agent, and indicated that he wanted to join The New Day as he called himself Big G. Woods reluctantly said, “we’d love that for you,” as Waller offered to go get the car.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller first started teaming together in September of 2023, and they went on to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40, which was later renamed as the WWE Tag Team Championship. Their split has been teased for some time and now it seems that it’s official.
