Stephanie McMahon made her return to Monday Night Raw this week, and she made a huge announcement regarding the 2018 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Stephanie McMahon announced that for the first time ever WWE will be holding an all women’s Royal Rumble match on January 28 as Raw went off the air. After the show ended, Stephanie hugged the women in the ring, and they all celebrated together. You can check out some video footage below.
This is obviously a pretty huge deal for the WWE women’s division, and it’s not an opportunity that Dana Brooke, Mickie James and Alicia Fox will be taking lightly.
Sasha Banks was interviewed after Raw and she said that she got very emotional when she looked out in the crowd and saw her family after the announcement was made.
Paige also shared her thoughts on the history making match and she shed some tears as she reflected on all of the progress the women’s division has made over the last few years.
