Throughout the year WWE has signed a number of wrestlers, but the company has also let some contracts expire as well. Last month Luke Menzies (formerly known as Ridge Holland) took to social media to announce that his contract would not be renewed.

The announcement got a lot of attention as Menzies is currently sidelined due to injury, and he noted that he will not be able to work for at least another 6 months. The announcement also stated that WWE would covering his rehab during his recovery.

Recently Luke Menzies got the wrestling world talking again when he took to social media to issue the following statement:

“I feel like I’ve just been hung out to dry after getting injured working for another company on behalf of WWE. Add to that my contract not being renewed knowing that I wouldn’t be able to wrestle for 7 months. This is brutal. Yes they are taking care of the surgery and physical therapy but let’s be honest, that’s the bare minimum after what we sacrifice for the company. Plus the possibility of having to get my neck fused too. Talk about getting totally f*****.”

Fightful Select reports that Luke Menzies’ deal with WWE has been terminated early. The word within WWE was that the company considered some of his recent posts to be a breach of contract, so the decision was made to release him from the deal early.

Originally Luke Menzies was set to be paid until the end of the deal which was set to end in mid-November. However, it was strongly suggested that he will not be paid for the remaining period.

Menzies suffered a lisfranc injury while working for TNA Wrestling back in September, and he has noted that he was not paid any additional money for the appearance.

Stay tuned for updates.
