The last few years have been chaotic for the WWE roster due to the mass releases as it seemed that no one was safe. Fans have seen some surprising names get released and all four members of Hit Row were cut last year shortly after they were called up to the WWE main roster.
Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Top Dolla was released from WWE because he was a “heat magnet” backstage. However, it was said that Top Dolla knew not to be a heat magnet with Triple H, so their relationship was never strained which helped when it came to Top Dolla’s WWE return.
Hit Row made their surprise return to WWE this week on Friday Night SmackDown. Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis teamed up to squash two local competitors in a tag team match with B-Fab at ringside.
Since Triple H has taken over WWE creative Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis and Hit Row have all returned to the company, so it will be interesting to see who else is brought back in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
